Member Spotlight- MTC-Mutual Tele Communications
MTC, a company committed to the community and invested in the future. Mutual Tele Communications (MTC) was formed in 1905 as an independent phone company and has developed into a leading telecommunication provider. With it’s roots in Little River, KS, Mutual Tele Communications is here to stay. After opening their McPherson office in November of 2012 to connect customers with products and services, MTC has recently invested in a fiber network for McPherson. John Tietjens, General Manager of MTC, explained that the expansion of the fiber network to McPherson began over a year ago, to provide faster Internet speed and a more reliable network. Although a very extensive project, it conveys their commitment to McPherson. The MTC mission is “to provide local, reliable services to our customers. Offering the latest communication technologies to grow with the communities we serve.” The fiber network covers the main business areas of McPherson but was built so it can also be expanded into the residential areas. Contact MTC at 620-798-7000 to find out if fiber is available in your neighborhood and get connected to fast reliable service today.
In addition to high speed internet, MTC also offers long distance service, voice, digital TV and Nex-Tech Wireless. MTC is one of four owners of Nex-Tech Wireless. Other services include Integrated Technology (interactive security, video monitoring customized light control, thermostat adjustment and more) and IT services.
