The McPherson Chamber of Commerce is excited to offer another value-added benefit to our members to help you attract and maintain employees by offering cost-effective, high-quality health solutions to your team.
Effective now, the McPherson Chamber of Commerce can offer a health insurance plan to your employees and their families through the Chamber of Commerce Executives of Kansas. This new plan, Chamber Solutions, is for qualified member businesses with 2-100 employees in the state of Kansas. Businesses with 100+ employees can contact Tim Shrout, Gallagher Benefit Services, (information below) about the Chamber Solutions Health Care plan. LLC’s with no employees will not qualify. The Chamber Solutions Health Care plan is replacing the Chamber Blue plan that was implemented in 2023 with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas. The Chamber Blue plan must shut down by December 31, 2024, due to the recent ruling by the Department of Justice.
Chamber Solutions, an Aetna Funding Advantage Medical Plan, is a level funded product that offers the stability of a level monthly payment and stop loss protection with the ability to share in any claims funding surplus. Groups will receive individually underwritten proposals, and it also includes access to Aetna’s Choice POSII (Open Access) broad national network, two state-wide local networks, and value-added member programs. There is a discount for being a member of the McPherson Chamber of Commerce. There are also one-time credits that are effective until 3/1/2025.
As a member of the McPherson Chamber of Commerce, groups don’t have to wait for open enrollment to do underwriting and obtain a pricing proposal. Click the Chamber-Solutions-Brochure for instructions on how to complete and submit your health census information. The health census must be completed by the business, then uploaded to the portal to receive a pricing proposal. Please note, employers are responsible for a portion of the premium.
