Member Spotlight – Pizza Ranch
Dianne Kovarna didn’t envision a downtown location when she and her business partners initially began discussing a McPherson Pizza Ranch restaurant. But that all changed when she toured 206 N. Main Street and knew it was the right place.
“We are so excited to be downtown! I tell you what, every time we come here, I am just delighted to be here,” said Dianne who, with her husband Dick, also owns the Pizza Ranch in Hutchinson.
McPherson is delighted Pizza Ranch is here as well, judging by the crowd that gathered for the May 30th Chamber Connection and Ribbon Cutting at the restaurant.
Pizza Ranch is eager to be a good downtown neighbor, Dianne said. They know parking is a concern, and employees are instructed to use the public parking garages or side streets a couple blocks away from the restaurant to reserve main street parking for customers and other businesses.
“Also, if you’re doing something fun downtown and you want us to come,” she said, “invite us, and we’ll bring pizza or dessert pizza. Yep, yep, that’s what we do…we love to show up with pizza!”
Pizza Ranch’s vision is to glorify God by positively impacting the world, and they do that by starting in their own community, said co-owner and manager Donnie Bean Jr.
“We’re going to be active in the community outside our four walls,” he said. “We’ll do lots of fundraisers with nonprofits and school groups and that kind of stuff.”
In addition to a delicious buffet of pizza, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, pasta, salad, dessert pizzas, and much more, you can order from Pizza Ranch’s menu for dine-in, carryout, or have them cater your event. They also have a Fun Zone loaded with games and prizes to entertain kids and adults, as well as meeting rooms that are free to reserve when everyone purchases a buffet.
See Pizza Ranch’s website for a full menu and more information and follow them on Facebook for local updates. And, of course, check out photos from the May 30th ribbon cutting.
