Manufacturing Month in McPherson County

Manufacturing Month in McPherson County

October is just around the corner, and we all know that means Manufacturing Month in McPherson County.

To recognize McPherson County’s industrial success, inspire the next generation of manufacturers, and build the foundation for the workforce of the future, the McPherson Chamber of Commerce and the McPherson Industrial Development Company encourage our many manufacturers to showcase your uniqueness with a tour opportunity. This is the perfect time for students, teachers, parents, community leaders, and those transitioning out of the military to learn more about modern manufacturing and the many opportunities right here in McPherson County.

We encourage you to host an open house or schedule a tour in October to help others understand what your company does and the opportunities you have available. If you choose to register your event on the national site https://mfgday.com/register/ let us know. We want to help communicate the opportunities to area high schools, trade schools, colleges, military bases, and media outlets (if appropriate). If you have questions, contact Kasi Morales at kasim@mcphersonpower.com or 620-245-2521, or Debbie Hawkinson at chamberdirector@mcphersonks.org or 620-241-3303.
