The Home State Bank name came about in 1918 and then in 2011 Home State Bank was acquired by The Citizens State Bank but have retained the Home State Bank name. The Citizens State Bank, owned by the Ken Goering family, have locations in Moundridge, Harvey and Marion Counties as well. During the Chamber coffee, Home State Bank president, Ted Odle recognized Ken Goering, several board members and brought special attention to Sheryl White who will be retiring after 28 years with Home State Bank. Thank you Sheryl and best wishes in your retirement plans. Odle also introduced the real estate lending team of Katy Aichele, Lori Frazer and Dylan Obermueller. Although Katy Aichele is a familiar face at Home State Bank, she has transitioned into the role of mortgage loan officer/assistant vice president. Lori Frazer is with The Citizens State Bank in Hesston. Dylan Obermueller, who has been with the bank since September, was hired to the real estate loan department as of last week.
