Member Spotlight – McPherson Museum & Arts Foundation

The McPherson Museum & Arts Foundation, located at 1111 E. Kansas Avenue, has got lots of things on their calendar as far as new exhibits and other Museum activities go, according to Executive Director Carissa Speck. One of those activities is a paint party that will be happening during November. They are also going to be having the 50/50 Reverse Raffle with proceeds going to benefit the Museum. The purchase of a raffle ticket will also get you a Museum membership!

As far as new exhibits go … clear your calendar cause there’s some fun stuff coming up and you won’t want to miss any of it! The Museum will be displaying items from the time capsule that will be opened sometime during McPherson’s 150th Celebration in 2022. (I’m really curious as to what kind of goodies will be in it!) A new display on the horizon for the Museum will focus on music and McPherson musicians. AND there are also plans for the Museum to display a restored car from the McPherson College’s Auto Restoration Program. WOW! And don’t forget … the McPherson Museum is also a great place to hold events or special occasions! It’s also an excellent venue for educational programs, lectures, training workshops, or conferences.
