Nathan Spearman is the owner and CEO of PEM, one of the leading manufacturers of downstream extrusion equipment in the PVC pipe and custom profile industries in the United States. “We distribute our machines nationwide and internationally to the Dominican Republic, Mexico, and other Latin countries. We even sell downstream to some customers here in McPherson”, said Nathan Spearman. PEM has been around since the early 80s. The current owner and CEO, Nathan Spearman purchased PEM in 2017. PEM is now 4X the size than when he bought it in 2017. PEM recently moved into their new facility. They went from 60,000 sq. ft. to their new 150,000 sq. ft. facility that sits on 15 acres. Owner, Nathan Spearman couldn’t help but brag about his youngest son, Zachary, who is studying to be an architect at K-State University. Zackary worked with Hutton on a couple of design aspects of the facility. One is their remarkable lounge space and the front entrance vestibule. He also bragged about his other son who does all the buying for PEM.
