Member Spotlight – The Fieldhouse Sports Grill & Taps
Debbie Isaacson bought The Fieldhouse Sports Grill & Taps, 2218 E. Kansas Ave., about 6 months ago and has been making changes to turn it into a fun local gathering spot, she told Chamber Connection attendees November 7th.
“What we’re trying to develop is just somewhere fun for people to come,” she said. “So there’s going to be like karaoke on Tuesday, we’re trying to get trivia going…. You can come and have a drink, have a good dinner – just entertainment.”
The good times at The Fieldhouse also include fun staff.
“If they’re not fun, we’re not going to keep them,” Debbie said. “So far, so good.”
Those fun staff members are ready to serve you, whether you want to have a couple drinks while you watch the game on one of their many TVs or enjoy a delicious meal. Wednesday nights are Steak Night with a 10-ounce ribeye, and Debbie would like to add some “homecooked” specials using some of her mother’s recipes to an already mouthwatering menu.
Planning a party? ‘The Dugout’ can be reserved for parties and meetings of up to 38, and other parts of the restaurant can be rented out for larger parties or receptions.
Speaking of events, The Fieldhouse will host a Thanksgiving buffet November 28th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., where you can indulge in an all-you-can-eat feast for $18.99. To secure your tickets, please call Debbie at 785-643-1113.
