2014 Farm Forum Scheduled for January 24th, 2014
The McPherson Chamber of Commerce Agriculture committee is very passionate about their mission in keeping the importance of agriculture in the forefront of our community and county. The Chamber Agriculture Committee is host to many events that bring rural community leaders, business representatives and educators together. Please join us in recognizing the following individuals for their active roles in promoting agriculture and educating the public on the role agriculture plays in the daily life of the community and county.

Guest Speaker: Beth Riffel, Kansas Department of Agriculture
A native of Peabody, joined the Kansas Department of Agriculture in August of 2013 as Director of Communications. A graduate of Kansas State University with a degree in Agricultural communications . A mother of three, Beth is a strong advocate for youth development programs such as 4H and Future Farmers of America.
2013 Farm Family of the Year – Neal & Clare Galle
Neal & Clare Galle of rural Moundridge live on the farm that Neal was raised on. He is a graduate of Moundridge High School and obtained a degree in Feed Science and Management from Kansas State University. Clare was raised in the Kansas City area and is a graduate of McPherson College with a B.S. in Elementary Education and a minor in Home Economics and a Masters in Special Education.
2013 Friend of Agriculture – Joe Pavlovsky
Coming to McPherson in 1996, Joe became an active member of the McPherson Chamber of Commerce, serving as President 2000-2001. Employed by PrairieLand Partners, Joe has been involved in the Agriculture Committee, When Pigs Fly BBQ Contest & Fly In, and raising money for the Agriculture Future of America Scholarship program.
