“Bridging the Gap” a Success
The 2017 Leadership McPherson Class really took the bull by the horns and made 30 families and 85 kids very happy. The class had not made a decision yet on what their class project would be until they became aware of a three week gap between when the summer lunch program ends and school begins. This means families and kids that depended on the regular meals being provided, would have a three week gap. That of course is until the McPherson Chamber of Commerce 2017 Leadership McPherson Class stepped in. With funding being provided from several resources from the McPherson County Community Foundation, the leadership class organized, ordered and delivered sacks of food each week to the very appreciative families. Thank you for your time and efforts and for filling the gap.
